Committee Members

  The Parrot Club of Southwestern Ontario consists of an Executive and a Board of Directors. The Executive and Directors assist in the organization of Club Committees in the interest of disseminating projects to the members. Persons on the committees are volunteers from the club and appreciate any feedback that you have to offer. The Executive and Directors are term positions that are awarded annually through membership vote at our annual meeting.

Mission Statement

  The Parrot Club is dedicated to the ethical treatment of parrots in captivity as well as to their preservation in the wild. Our purpose is to provide information and assistance to all parrot owners and prospective parrot owners regarding proper nutrition, handling, and the daily care of their parrots. We also seek to encourage the advancement of avian medical research, captive breeding programs and information services in our area. Special consideration and effort will be made to assist injured, handicapped and unwanted parrots by providing information on available homes and/or sanctuaries willing to take in adoptable birds.
